Snow Birch on a Lake

PAINTING: I love the colors in this painting. Although, I am not sure I captured the reflection technique completely in my painting, I still love the effect. That is one of the things that led me to do this one. Another really cool thing about this one is that a lot of it was done with the black, white and gray gesso acrylic. The black background and the trees are all done before the liquid clear is put on. Another turn in the road with Bob takes us down another little happy painting path. This scene is enticing too because it looks so serene. I can imagine it being so quiet and peaceful.. Bob said that what we put on the canvas is our world and we can make it how we want to make it.

PRAYER: One of the things I have been thinking about is how we can frame our world with our words. Just like how Bob said it is our world on our canvas....it is our world here and we can set it up with our words. Our words about our lives, our families, and everything else......frame it. When we pray, we should pray using God's words. His Word. It is truth. We can't go wrong praying it over us and our families....over our world and then, just like we pray without ceasing.....we speak the Word over our lives continuously. When we do this, it brings peace and serenity to our lives. When we do this, it brings that calm quiet place......our peace of mind. It shuts the enemy up and keeps him out. I don't know about you, but I want more of that in my life.I need more of that. More of Him and less of me. More fellowship. More Word. More of the peace that goes beyond understanding. I pray we step off the wheel and spend more time with you Lord. I pray that in everything that we have going on, that You are at the top of our list and that things that don't matter or things that are wrong for us, fall away. We speak today that You are our priority! In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
